The few truths about food aphrodisiacs

1) ARE OWNED BY THE FOOD 'aphrodisiac?

popular gastronomic traditions are rich in "myths" about foods that can stimulate and increase desire and sex drive. The list of foods considered aphrodisiacs is long: anise, asparagus, avocado, caviar, champagne, chocolate, figs, almonds, garlic, celery, mushrooms, paprika, saffron, pepper, cinnamon, mustard and more .... However, there are a lot of scientific data to support the argument that all these foods (and many others which we have mentioned) have aphrodisiac powers. The chili is probably the food that more than anyone else has some real scientific basis on which it based its aphrodisiac properties With some substances it contains chili stimulates peripheral vasodilation increasing blood flow to the genitals.

2) Why 'It is said that some foods have this property'?

The pleasure of the palate is to mirror that of sex because the erotic and the cuisine are two arts that simultaneously involve the five senses. Both the appetite for excitement, in fact, depends more on emotions from the digestive system and sexual organs. Sexual desire has two components, one linked to physiological and metabolic causes one linked to emotional impulses. The latter is crucial because it acts by enhancing the physiological mechanisms that give rise to desire. The aphrodisiac food component would act on this "mental" part in triggering vascular patterns and trigger circuits, the sum of these effects would be able to hone the intimacy of the couple. But these are only hypotheses when there is little scientific evidence. The alleged aphrodisiac effect is due, rather than the nutritional characteristics of different foods, the atmosphere in which they are consumed. The combination of different sensory relations, satisfaction at the sight of appetizing food, the olfactory stimulation tend to lead to a state of general euphoria conducive sexual expression.

3) ARE THERE ANY FOODS THAT PROMOTE INTIMACY '?

Intimacy is not given by the food itself but the symbolism that is hidden dietro.L 'all the aphrodisiac foods could have some influence on the sex life but probably not the food has stimulated the desire, but creates favorable situations. Dinner together, or cook together, is one of the few remaining moments of intimacy for the couple.

should not be overlooked even the aphrodisiac effect of aromas and flavors: a study by the Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation in Chicago, in fact, shown that some species are able to stimulate intimacy and sex.

4) LEI for a romantic dinner, a nutritionist, What can I prepare? Alas

are denied in the kitchen ... I think for my partner to prepare something just because I am a great boost for the affinity. ... As a good amateur cuisine abound, however, with the spices and chilli in particular .... I would try to cure, in addition to the ingredients, including the presentation of the dish and its aromas ... the way all these foods and spices are combined and prepared, in fact, essential to preserve their aphrodisiac.
